Dental abscess London

A dental abscess is a gathering of pus and infection inside your tooth or gums. This infection will then penetrate the surrounding bone that holds the teeth in place. When an abscess forms at the end of a tooth it is called a periapical abscess. An abscess that forms in the gum is called a periodontal abscess. Both types of abscesses may lead to a facial swelling.

Dental abscesses can be painful, you should get the problem  looked at by your dentist as soon as possible. Your dentist may choose to refer you to an Endodontist.

It's important to get help as soon as possible, because abscesses don't go away by themselves. The infection can spread and in some cases be life threatening.

At ARCENDO we are specialists at saving teeth if root canal treatment is needed.
